The upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, China's most significant traditionalholiday, brings with it a unique culinary delight - the mooncake. Embedded deeply in Chinese culture, mooncakes, also known as moon rounds, harvest cakes, or reunion cakes, are cherished as one of the nation's traditional treats.
Originally intended as offerings to worship the moon goddess, consuming mooncakes and admiring the full moon during the Mid-Autumn Festival have become indispensable rituals across China, symbolizing family reunion and harmony.
Panda Education is delighted to lead you through the traditional art of"making mooncakes" in an upcoming event.
