At Panda Education, all student events are free of charge!

Longhua Temple in Shanghai is a renowned Buddhist temple with a rich history. Dating back to the Eastern Jin Dynasty, it has witnessed over 1,700 years of ups and downs. The temple complex features magnificent architectures such as the Tianwang Hall, the Great Hero Hall, and the Hall of the Three Sages. Each building showcases unique traditional Chinese architectural styles. Surrounded by lush trees, serene ponds, and delicate stone carvings, the temple exudes a solemn and peaceful atmosphere. Here, people come to offer prayers, seek spiritual comfort, and immerse themselves in the profound Buddhist culture. It's not just a religious site but also a must - visit attraction for those interested in history and culture.

Event details are as follows:

Date: 21 June 2025 (Sat)

Time: 10:30-13:30

Tour guide: Shen Peigao, a senior Chinese teacher at Panda Education (can provide services in Chinese, English, and Japanese)

Seats: There are a total of 8 seats for this event, which are only available to current students of Panda Education on first-come, first-served basis. If students' family members wish to join, an additional fee of 50 yuan per person is required.

Cost: All expenses for this trip, including entrance tickets and lunch, will be borne by Panda Education.

Tour schedule:

10:30 Gatherat Exit 2 of Longhua Station on Line 11
10:30-12:00 Visit the temple to feel the solemnity and mystery of Buddhist culture.
12:00-13:00 Enjoy the most classic vegetarian noodles at Longhua Temple and taste the delicate and elegant flavor.
13:00-13:30 Experience inner peace and tranquility by copying Buddhist scriptures.

Special gift: Each participant will receive a specially prepared gift from Panda Education.
Registration starts at 18:00 on 18 June 2025.
