Shanghai's Nanxiang Ancient Town is a Jiangnan water town full of antique charm and historical atmosphere, where strolling through its lanes feels like stepping back in time. The signature Nanxiang Xiaolongbao, with its thin skin, tender filling, and rich savory juice, is a quintessential Shanghai traditional snack. And the elegant Guyi Garden, a classical Jiangnan garden, delights visitors with its pavilions, greenery, and floral fragrances in perfect harmony.

One-Day Tour Details

Date: 25 April 2026 11:00-15:00

Schedule: Gather at Exit 2 of Nanxiang Station on Metro Line 11 at 11:00 am. The tour will end around 15:00 pm, and you can take the metro back to the city center by yourself.

Tour Guide Language: Panda Education will assign a senior teacher proficient in English and Japanese to accompany you throughout the tour and ensure your safety.

Seats: This event has a capacity of 10 participants, exclusive to current students of Panda Education. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If family members or friends of current students wish to participate, an additional fee of RMB 70 per person will be charged.

Costs: All expenses for this tour, including entrance fees to attractions and lunch, will be covered by Panda Education.

Highlight: For lunch, we will visit the century-old restaurant Guyi Garden, the birthplace of Xiaolongbao, to taste the most authentic version of this delicacy.

Gift: Each participant will receive a Hetian jade Xiaolongbao ornament.
